Russian Tea Cake Cookies
1 c butter, softened
2 ¼ c flour
¼ t salt
1 t vanilla
¾ c finely chopped nuts
½ c powdered sugar
Mix all but powdered sugar, shape into 1” balls. Place 1” apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until set but not brown (about 10-12 min). Roll in powdered sugar while warm. Roll in powdered sugar again. Servings: 4 dozen cookies
