Salisbury Steak1 ½ lbs ground beef
1 egg
1 T. crumbled basil
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. dried onion flakes, or ¼ c chopped onion
1 c sliced fresh mushrooms
1-2 envelopes brown gravy mix
Mix first 5 ingredients and shape into patties. Fry in a little butter and remove from pan when well done. Add mushrooms to pan and sauté in butter. Make gravy and stir with mushrooms. Serve over the steaks and rice or potatoes.
