Cream of Broccoli, Chicken, and Cheese Soup Cedar City Pizza Factory
2 c water (5 for restaurant crowd)
2 chicken bouillon cubes (6)
1 t garlic powder (1 T)
broccoli bunch (or very large)
½ onion, chopped (1)
1 can chicken, or leftover chicken (3)
½ cube butter (1 lb)
½ t S&P (1)
1/8 c flour (or more to make paste) (1 c)
2 c milk (or less, to desired thickness) (1 gallon)
3/4 c grated cheese (2 c)
Sprinkle of parmesan cheese (opt) (1/3 c)
Cook broccoli and onion in water (with bouillon cubes and garlic). Add chicken and set aside. Cook butter, S&P, flour and milk on medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Let come to a boil and add cheeses. Combine all and heat through.
