Snickerdoodles
1 c soft shortening
2 eggs
1 ½ c sugar
2 t soda
2 t cream of tartar
½ t salt
2 ¾ c flour
cinnamon and sugar
Mix shortening, sugar and eggs together. Stir in remaining ingredients. Roll into 2 inch balls. Place onto cookie sheets. Wet the bottom of a glass, dip it into cinnamon and sugar and smash the balls of dough. Cook at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
