Caramel Brownies

Caramel Brownies Annie Draper
2/3 c evaporated milk
16 ounces caramel
2 boxes German chocolate cake mixes
1 1/2 c butter, softened
2/3 c milk
18 ounces milk chocolate chips

Combine caramels and evaporated milk in a pan over medium heat. Stir until melted. Set aside. Combine cake mixes, butter, milk to form a dough. Press 1/2 dough into an 11 1/2 x 17" pan. Bake at 350 for 6 mins. Sprinkle chips and pour caramel over baked crust. Drop by spoonfuls the remainder of the dough (it will not completely cover). Return to oven for 20 mins. Cool completely before cutting. (takes at least 30 mins to an hour)
