Creamy Frozen Salad Irene Robinson, Gooseberry Patch
2 c sour cream2 T lemon juice
3/4 c sugar
1 banana, mashed
1/2 t salt
9oz can crushed pineapple
1/4 c marashino cherries, chopped and drained
Blend sour cream, lemon juice and sugar; add banana. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Pour into a mold or muffin tins for individual servings. Place in freezer until frozen. Dip mold in warm water to loosen salad.
*I love the muffin tin idea, plus it freezes faster at 1 hour or less.
