½ c butter, room temp
1 c sugar (or 1/2 c honey)
2 eggs
1 c yellow cornmeal
1 ½ c flour
2 t baking powder
½ t salt
1 ½ c milk
Cream butter, sugar and eggs. In a separate bowl blend cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt. Combine creamed mixture, dry ingredients, and milk. Blend. Bake in a greased 8x8inch pan at 375 for 35-40 mins. Makes 6 servings.
