I love this salad! But I only make it with fresh produce - tomato and basil season - cause it's better fresh and is a great way to use up a lot of tomatoes. Plus it's pretty!
Caprese Salad
Fresh tomatoes
Basil chopped
Balsamic vinegar
(Fresh mozzarella, opt)
Slice tomatoes and spread out on serving dish. Sprinkle on basil, drizzle on vinegar. Slide thin slices of fresh mozzarella in between some of the tomatoes, if desired, when arranging on dish.
