I want to try this new recipes sometime...they were at a RS event we had.
Cinnamon Rolls By: Margaret Holyoak
1 1⁄4 C. warm water
1⁄4 C Sugar
1 T yeast or one packet
Stir and let sit 5 min.
1 egg
1⁄4 C oil
1 t salt
2 heaping T of dough enhancer
Add to yeast and mix.
3 1⁄2 C. flour (Approx.) (this will vary depending on a lot of things)
The dough should be sticky, as you knead the dough the stickiness will lesson.
Put in greased bowl and let double.
Punch down and roll into a rectangle. Roll dough about 3/8 of an inch thick.
Sprinkle with:
1⁄2 C sugar
1⁄4 C cinnamon
Roll and slice about 1 inch thick. Let rise until almost double.
Bake: 350 for 15 min. Should make about 12 cinnamon rolls.
ICING:
1⁄4 stick of butter Room temp.
2T milk
pinch of salt
1⁄2 t vanilla
Enough powdered sugar to make the consistence you like.
Drizzle Chocolate Vinegar until the color starts to change.
